Ashley Bélanger

Manager, UX Research and Service Design

Government of Canada

Ashley Belanger is a public servant committed to human centered service design and facilitating transformational change with a focus on user experience to drive experimentation, innovation, and organizational commitment to improving services to Canadians.

Feeling confined by the context of designing and delivering federal programs to support arts and culture and with little room to manoeuver around traditional “stakeholder consultations”, after eight years in policy and program administration, Ashley made the leap to Service Design.

She currently manages a team of Service Designers, User Researchers and UX/UI Designers at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada.
