Ella Mae is Director of Product at Apolitical and was on the founding team. She oversees all platform development and community engagement, and has run focus groups and user research with hundreds of public servants around the world. She was previously with the Global Fund to End Modern Slavery, where she ran the Africa data and fieldwork portfolio. She has worked with members of the House of Lords and House of Commons on policy issues like migration and welfare. She holds an MA from Oxford University and taught herself to code. She was shortlisted for the 2019 Future Stars of Tech Award, and Female GovTech Leaders 2018.
