Architectural / Industrial Design barriers

Matthew is a recent graduate of the University of Waterloo in Mechanical Engineering. His academic interests there included biomechanics and computer simulation of physical systems. He also spent time during his undergrad as a teaching assistant for programming and CAD courses. Professionally, he has experience as a co-op student in a variety of industries including automotive design, mining consulting, and entertainment. His contributions to an award-winning capstone wheelchair modification project resulted in his attendance to this conference. He currently tutors and grades papers part-time while looking for full-time work. In his free time, he grows vegetables and plays guitar at his Toronto home.
